Based in Stuttgart, Jonathan Schäfer is a composer for film, media and theatre. Rooted in years of classical piano training, his early passion for sketching miniature pieces naturally evolved into scoring moving images. After laying a foundation in film scoring and production at the Musicube Academy, he began his studies in Composition for Film and Theatre at ArtEZ University of the Arts in 2023.

While his personal signature gravitates toward minimal neoclassical soundscapes, he shapes every score around the exact narrative needs of a project. With a strong focus on recording and producing real acoustic instruments, he creates warm, organic sound worlds and is always open to new collaborations across visual media and the stage.
